The Palace Grill

City: Santa Barbara

Food type: Cajun, Creole

Restaurant link: http://www.palacegrill.com/

Price range/person: $18-25/dinner

Wait time: 15 - 30 mins

Service: Friendly, accommodating, personable. Servers go out of their way to make your dining experience pleasant - one even brought me extra muffins because I loved them so much!

Ambiance: Fun, lively, entertaining. Colorful decor and Marti Gras atmosphere makes your visit exciting and memorable.

Dish Focus on:

PENNE PASTA PONTALBA Penne Pasta, with Bronzed Diced Chicken Breast, Onions, and Red Bell Peppers in a delicious Creole-Seasoned Sauce with a touch of Cream.

Flavorful pasta with large chunks of chicken. A hearty portion able to satisfy a mighty appetite. A touch too salty for my personal taste.

Yummmy factor: 4.5/5

YummmyRambles: Atmosphere is fun and exciting. Servers are genuinely friendly and want you to enjoy your dining experience, not ONLY the food. The BEST thing about this place are their muffins, which come with the dinner. Freshly baked, scrumptious bites of delight - muffin types include: corn, walnut, orange-cranberry, bran, and one more?? can't remember. Would go back to this place for the muffins exclusively, but the food is great as well. The CAJUN CRAWFISH POPCORN (a twist to your typical calamari) and the GUMBO YA YA are fantastic as well. Located by beach side, near tons of other fun stores and restaurants. Perfect place for dinner after a day of shopping!
